This policy covers both the Shape Friends apps and this website (shapefriends.com). The same standards apply to both.
The apps
Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No names, no email addresses, no location, no device identifiers, no analytics. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no logins. Everything your child creates stays on the device.
We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No ads are shown, ever. No data is shared with anyone, because there is no data to share.
Children's privacy
Our apps are designed for children aged 2–5 and comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and GDPR-K. They are built for the Apple Kids Category, which has the strictest requirements for children's apps. We take this seriously because our own children use these apps.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store any payment information. A parental gate (a simple maths problem) is required before any purchase screen is shown.
This website
No analytics, no tracking, no cookies. The page you're reading right now doesn't know anything about you.
If you message us through the support form, your name, email and message go through Formspree (a form-handling service) into our inbox. We use the email to reply and nothing else — we don't add you to any list and we don't share it. You can ask us to delete the message any time.
Web fonts are served from our own domain (shapefriends.com). Nothing on this site reaches out to Google, a CDN, or any other third party.
